Remotely Operated Tube Inspection System

The Manipulator unit along with Industrial Robot is required for positioning and location of the ECT Probe to each of the U-tubes of moderator heat exchanger, shut- down heat exchanger and bleed coolers for performing the inspection. The manipulator shall be of reputed make six axis industrial robot and self elevating platform for mounting of industrial robot so that robot will be able to reach both Hot region and Cold region of the above mentioned Heat exchangers. Robot is selected as such that it should meet the requirement of this specification. Essentially robot is placed in front of the respective heat exchangers on self elevating platform. Provision may be made to mount the robot on the channel flange of the heat exchangers if required.
